Technical Info & Known Issues:
- Save files from the demo should largely be compatible with the full release, but minor bugs may arise. The save files need to be transfered manually. They can be found in the directory "game\saves" within the Resident Lover folder. The save files from the demo may visually appear too large in the save and load menus. This is just a visual issue and will be fixed when overwritten.
- Recording or streaming the game in fullscreen may result in the video output freezing. Record and stream from window mode if this happens.

does anyone know how to fix the typeerror where its says that bool object is not callable? i cant fix it and the game keeps on crashing
my damn fixation since june-august 2024...curse you team avia for this wonderful game!! (also replayed this game like hundreds of times now and i still havent done Bela and Miranda's bad endings because im a wuss and also cuz i dont want to see Bela in pain 👍💦

got it 2 weeks ago and been playing it every night since i loved this game!! i love the dialogue and the artstyle
Welp I finally started playing this after downloading it last year and wow I thought it would be a quick play but it was definitely a longer game than I thought. I literally chose the first route that popped up and the twist of the game was something I had no idea about especially since I walked in blind. I can't wait to play the other route but I'm so glad I started playing !
I can't believe I discover this so late... This is way too good, sadly the developers discontinue this vn...

Currently finished the Alcina's route and i'm going after the Bela's one. I really wanted to congratulate you for the beautiful scenarios and the characters, they are absolutely perfect! All i have to say it's that I LOVE the game so far!!!!! I was lookin' for a WLW game with this level of drawings T-T so i am so happy.
Also, the story is so catching!
The only suggestion i can give to you, it's that you could make an exclusive ilustration for every end, it would be amazing!

They had a game planned called Haunted Darling but to my knowledge they've disbanded. Or at the very least all the artists left.
It's still in the works but a lot slower now (there was also mentions of them returning to Resident lover again for more routes)

I love this game. Particulary the Cassandra and Bela route. I replay it often. It'a comfort game for me.
I've replayed this game a lot, i loved this game so much, had me giggling and kicking my feet. Also makes me wish there were more games like this, but with other games and shows, like Wednesday or Arcane <3
Absolutely love the game and Donna. Only one thing i got to complain is the use of they/them on the MC. Since the game is clearly sapphic why not just use she/her? My apologies if it came off as homophopic

This is brilliant. I was incredibly impatient and did Miranda's route second after doing Alcina's. My question is, is MC the same MC from Miranda's, in all routes?
The only thing i wasnt keen on or even understand was the constant use of they when talking about the MC, why not just use she? After all it says Sapphic in the description.

The game is absolutely awesome, the art, the story, the characters! I do wish that there was an option of changing your name in the game instead of Maria Clara, tho... Sadly this breaks a lot of the game immesive ambience:(( well, I still have to finish the game, so i can be wrong about the name thing and it is actually something important for the story... But it would be really good to have this option as well!!

Well MC is short for Maria Clara. In the game, MC is from the Philippines, and Maria Clara is a popular symbol, often seen as an ideal depiction of Filipino women. Its just a nice reference to that
I’m pretty sure MC stands for main character? It’s common to see in many visual novels for the protagonist if they’re nameless to be referred as mc,i don’t know if their intention was to use like, a double meaning with Main Character and what you said but i don’t think most people have read MC as Maria Clara tbh If they were to name the protagonist María clara i think they would have had no problem saying it outright since they had already established a nationality and a physical appearance. I think some things are purposefully left vague for people to relate a bit with the protagonist Imo

I absolutely fell in love with this game when the demo came out, so I was of course super excited when the full game released. This game truly had a grip on me haha, I was so amazed by the art and all the work that went into it, that I even had to create a video to fangirl about it (its in german though). More than one year later I realized I have not written a review on itch.io so I had to do that right away.
Team Avia, you did an incredible job at rewriting the characters and story so they would fit into this University AU. Absolutely stanned Bela from the start, love her mean and harsh outside (even though shes a real softie on the inside). What I did not expect: that I would fall for Angie. But her design is the cutest thing ever!! I was very intrigued by her story.
Thanks to the whole team for creating this sapphic masterpiece (great art, banger music, very entertaining writing)<3
